Agro-industrial production must use natural resources responsibly to remain active over time. For Somave, as important as preserving and restoring the environment, is not to pollute it. For this reason, more than 250 thousands dolars were invested in processes and equipment for effluent treatment.

A Somave has large and complex structures for handling waste, strict accompanied for oficial services. In addition, after the slaughter of poultry, any by-product of the chicken is processed into feed by means of a flour factory.

To keep the water clean, Somave has equipment and treatment ponds. The equipments remove fat and others waste from water. After separating by-products and water, it is sent to treatment ponds. After that, water is used in the fertigation of properties.
